Summer Pay

Amanda: Mom, you haven't paid us for chores.

Me: That's because you haven't done any.

Amanda: Yeah, but it's summer.

Me: And???

Amanda: We deserve a break.

Me: That's fine, but I'm not gonna' pay you for it.

Amanda: We let you take naps.

Me: So?

Amanda: You should pay us for not bothering you.
